Medis specials
Medis specials was founded in 2005. Close collaboration with our partners Medis medical imaging systems bv, Leiden University Medical Center, division of Image processing (LKEB) and the department of Orthopaedics, forms a strong alliance for the development and commercialization of products in the field of medical imaging.
The capabilities of Medis specials can be categorized into two areas:
Product commercialization in a research oriented market and Research services.
Product Commercialization and Sales
The research editions of our products are fully developed by our partners and have an excellent potential for large scale usage. Medis specials evaluates and optimizes these products further:
- Development of physician friendly user interfaces and visualization tools
- Marketing of new products
- Sales of innovative products
Research Services
Medis specials can provide extensive support in carrying out clinical studies in which our products are used. Consequently, the threshold of starting clinical studies is low and continuity and quality is guaranteed. Services include:
- Carrying out phantom studies
- Support protocol design
- Monitoring of study
- Support data analysis
- Organization of Instructional Courses
